That arrangement, while protecting their delicate instruments, also provided a festive “we’re-all-in-this-together” atmosphere. Instead of a fiasco, the rain proved to be a memorable addition, and all the Guests were smiling and laughing as they went through the Receiving Line after the wedding and ran through the pouring rain to their cars.
