Minnesota wedding DJs - my own thoughts and recommendations

Note: DJs can provide music for the wedding ceremony as well as the reception, so throughout the years I’ve met many of the wedding DJs working in Minnesota.

By far my favorite Disk Jockey for weddings in the Minneapolis and St Paul area is Troy Ackerman with Dancin’ Tracks. Troy takes his time and works with each couple to determine exactly what they’d like, and he’s personable and incredibly experienced. Troy has a great page on tips for hiring a wedding DJ, which is helpful no matter which wedding DJ you wind up choosing.

I, along with my bride, hired Troy Ackerman for our wedding ceremony in St Paul after I had seen him work at several weddings and had the Guests dancing all night (a skill that is very difficult to aquire). He has a very easy, calm way of talking and it becomes really clear that he knows exactly what he’s talking about. Both my wife and I recommend him 100%!
