Minnesota wedding guitarist with guitar Joel Shapira

Advantages of using a guitarist for your Minnesota wedding ceremony:

  • A guitar can enhance a casual wedding without making it stuffy

  • While a guitar makes a perfect for many Minnesota outdoor weddings, make sure that the guitarist has a battery-powered amplifier (Joel, who is pictured above, has one, but most guitarists don't)

  • With an experienced guitarist, you can choose from many style options, from contemporary music to classical guitar to even flamenco

  •

My recommendation for a Minnesota wedding guitarist:  Joel Shapira is a wonderful musician and a great choice! Joel not only has audio clips on his website (so you don't have to have a CD mailed to you), he also had video clips so you can actually see him playing!  Also, he has his public performances marked on his online calendar, so you can see him perform live, if you like.

The fee for this St Paul and Minneapolis wedding guitarist is approximately $180, which I've found to be the cheapest option available for Minnesota wedding ceremony music.  Also, Joel also has a guitar/flute duo and that is approximately $360.00.  Some options:  You can hire him for playing the wedding march on guitar, or for music during the Unity Candle, or for the recessional.  Joel can also play for the wedding reception.
